Writer and performer Kim Schultz learned about Dorothy's story while in residence at TLC. The Root Beer Lady tells story of the indomitable Dorothy Molter, the last legal non-indigenous resident of the Boundary Waters. Join us at the theater for this dramatic, funny and nostalgic female-driven solo performance.

Originally from Minnesota, Kim Shultz is an actor, writer, storyteller and artist/advocate. For over 20 years, she has worked at many national theatres as an actor and a writer. She has written several highly acclaimed solo shows including “The F Trip” and “No Place Called Home”. She has written the book “Story Diary” to document her work with refugees and the memoir, “Three Days in Damascus” (Palewell Press, 2016). Find out more about Kim here.
